This is for everyone who wants to learn how to wrap dumplings in this Classic Pleats style. With the process broken down into mini steps, anyone can master this. I have taught many people this particular fold — young and old — who immediately start folding dumplings like an expert. You can do this!

There are many beautiful ways to wrap a dumpling. I call this style “classic” because it’s one fold you should know regardless where you are in your dumpling-making journey. The shape is great for pan-frying, steaming or boiling. This style uses the more popular 3” round wrappers (i.e. not square).
